• Prices will vary depending on many variants but I can assure you that you will be receiving great value for your design project. Most design work is charged on an hourly rate of £25 per hour. I also bill in 30 minute increments for smaller projects and for larger projects a discounted day rate (8 hours) of £180 per day is available.

    You will not find a better price with my competitors and I encourage you to compare me to other graphic design companies that are producing the same top level of quality design work for a much higher price.

  • Once I have received your project brief whether that’s via email or from a meeting or from a submitted BLUE Robin Design Brief, I will usually have discussed ideas and/or the brief with you to get a complete understanding of what is required. After the initial submission for project work I will then go through all the information to provide a quote for you to approve. You will likely then have to pay a 50% deposit for the project depending on the type of quote you receive.

    A lot of research will have been carried out before any work begins so that I can have your project completed as quickly as possible while maintaining the high quality design work I provide. Once initial concepts or certain stages of the design project process have been reached I will show you the work for approval or changes.

    Once you have confirmed you are happy with the work you will then be invoiced for all outstanding work. When the invoice has been settled in full you will then be sent all your required and purchased files digitally through email or a file sharing option of your choice.

  • The best way to receive the most accurate quote for design work would be to email me at jamesbensly@bluerobin.uk. If you are able to include brief in your email that would be ideal and helps speed the process up or we can arrange a phone call/meeting to discuss your project.

  • Once I have completed the design process for your project and you have paid in full for your final design, the copyrights of the finalised designs are then transferred to you and you own them. I will however own the rights to any creative work concepts not chosen or paid for.

  • Once your project is complete and paid for in full I can deliver your final files using a few options:

    • via email as an attachment depending on size (limited to 25mb per email).

    • upload to Google Drive and send you a link to download.

    • via a file sharing service such as WeTransfer.

    If neither of these options will work we can discuss alternative options for you to receive your final files.

  • I encourage client involvement as much as you can get involved. I will not sign off any design work as complete without confirmed approval from you so you have my guarantee that you will be satisfied with your final design projects outcome.

    For extra involvement on projects that require multiple days/weeks of work we will send you regular daily updates on projects just so you can see how the design process is coming along so you can make necessary changes or additions along the way as well as approving the work just so I know we are on the right track.

    The more you are involved with the project the quicker and easier the whole design process will be.

  • This will vary depending on the required work. For example a logo can take 1-5 hours to create depending on the complexity whereas a Squarespace website build will usually take over 30 hours to finish.

    A simplified answer to this is I will always work to your project deadlines and aim to get the project completed way before that deadline as to account for any project changes or adjustments that may need to be made.

  • Once I have received your design brief you will receive a quote stating the hourly or full cost of the project within 24 hours - all full cost quoted orders are invoiced with payment required in a 50/50 payment plan explained below:

    • 50% non-refundable deposit payment upfront before project work begins.

    • 50% payment once final design is confirmed and before final design work is sent through.

    I accept payment from Direct Debit/ Credit Card and payment must be paid by the client within 30 days of the Invoice issue date.
